Job Overview AccuRounds is looking for an experienced CNC Lathe Machinist who can independently set up and operate CNC lathes to produce precision custom components. This position is ideal for an experienced machinist who understands the entire machining process—from print and setup through first-piece inspection and production—and can troubleshoot problems with minimal supervision. What You'll Do Set up and operate CNC lathes to produce precision components Read and interpret blueprints, work instructions and inspection requirements Select tooling and determine appropriate speeds and feeds Set and adjust workholding, tooling and bar feeders Make offsets and program adjustments as needed Troubleshoot machining, tooling and quality issues Perform first-piece and in-process inspections using standard inspection equipment Work with GD&T and tight tolerances Monitor production to maintain quality and efficiency Perform routine machine maintenance and maintain a clean, organized work area Work collaboratively with Engineering, Quality and Production to improve processes What We're Looking For 3+ years of CNC lathe setup and operating experience Ability to independently set up CNC lathes Strong blueprint-reading and shop math skills Knowledge of GD&T, tooling, speeds and feeds Experience using precision measuring and inspection equipment Ability to troubleshoot and make sound machining decisions Fanuc control experience preferred Experience with bar-fed CNC lathes preferred Dependable, quality-focused and able to work as part of a team This is not an entry-level CNC operator position. We are looking for an experienced machinist who is comfortable setting up jobs and solving machining problems. Physical Requirements Ability to stand and walk for extended periods. Frequently lift, push, pull, and move materials weighing up to 40 pounds. Ability to perform repetitive tasks and maintain fine motor dexterity. Visual acuity sufficient to inspect precision-machined components and read technical documents. Ability to maintain focus and concentration in a manufacturing environment.

Pay:

$35.00 - $45.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 - 50.0 per week
