Job Description

CNC Machinist We are seeking a skilled CNC Machinist to support precision manufacturing operations. The ideal candidate will have experience operating CNC equipment and interpreting technical drawings and specifications. This role requires attention to detail, accuracy, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced team environment. The CNC Machinist will be responsible for producing high-quality components while following established safety and quality standards. Responsibilities Operate CNC milling machines and other machining equipment to manufacture precision parts. Set up, adjust, and calibrate machines based on production requirements and specifications. Interpret CAD drawings and 3D models to ensure accurate machining processes. Perform routine machine maintenance and troubleshoot operational issues as needed. Use hand tools and measurement techniques to cut, inspect, and assemble components. Work closely with engineering and production teams to improve tooling and machining processes. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area in compliance with workplace safety standards. Qualifications Proven experience as a CNC Machinist, preferably 4-5+ years. Proficiency with CNC programming languages and machine operation. Familiarity with tooling methods and the ability to work with tight tolerances. Experience using CAD software is preferred. Strong understanding of machining processes, including milling and turning. Ability to work independently and collaboratively, with strong communication skills. Determining compensation for this role (and others) at Vaco/Highspring depends upon a wide array of factors including but not limited to the individual's skill sets, experience and training, licensure and certifications, office location and other geographic considerations, as well as other business and organizational needs. With that said, as required by local law in geographies that require salary range disclosure, Vaco/Highspring notes the salary range for the role is noted in this job posting. The individual may also be eligible for discretionary bonuses, and can participate in medical, dental, and vision benefits as well as the company's 401(k) retirement plan.
