Entry Level Machinist needed to run manual machines. If you are mechanically inclined (automotive, small engines, etc.) this is a great opportunity to begin a career in machining with true opportunities for growth. Now a part of PCX Aerosystems, our small family business started in 1956 and continues to offer new and unique aerospace applications. You will train on first shift (630AM - 3PM) and then transfer to 2nd (3PM - 1230AM) shift. Measuring and marking raw materials needed to manufacture parts Setting up equipment required to complete each step of the manufacturing plan Operating equipment to carry out each step correctly Monitoring the production process and intervening when problems arise Inspecting finished parts for flaws and defects Must perform routine maintenance on assigned production equipment, i.e., maintain cleanliness of work area and machinery, check machinery fluids and alert maintenance personnel and/or supervisor of malfunctions. Operate lifting and handling equipment such as hand truck, pallet jack, or overhead hoist to maneuver in-process or finished components to desired location. Ability to quickly learn production equipment.
