CNC Setup Summary Sets-up and operates computer numerical control (CNC) Vertical and Horizontal Mills to perform machine functions on very close tolerance billet machined parts.

1st Shift Monday•Thursday 6:00AM•4:30

Medical, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance and more! 401K, company match PTO 11 Paid Company Holidays Tuition Reimbursement Paid company training Career advancement Duties and Responsibilities Prepares and pre-sets all tools needed for machining operations. Preps, positions, and secures workpiece in holding device, machine table, chuck, centers, or fixtures. Sets up fixture, installs tooling, installs programs, enters offsets, and proves out machine. Inspects first run piece and makes offsets as required, spot checks succeeding pieces for conformance to specifications (including documentation of results). Perform other associated duties as needed to continue the productive operation of the company. Recommend and help implement any improvements that could be made to the existing process. Maintain a clean and organized work environment through 5-S controls (willing to learn 5-S controls). Ensure a safe work environment is maintained, appropriate safety systems/processes are utilized, and ensure compliance with all OSHA and other state/federal safety and environmental related rules and regulations.
Position Requirements:
Secondary school in Machine Trades or OJT training is required. Knowledge of G and M codes Knowledge of G D and T blueprint reading Knowledge of 3 and 4 Axis Machining Center Personally, owned set of Machine Trade tools. Able to read and follow written work instructions. Good communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work with minimal supervision. Able to inspect parts with various measuring tools.
Physical Demands:
The employee is regularly required to remain in a stationary position at work station Frequently moves parts weighing up to 30lbs. Must have good manual dexterity. Must be detail orientated. Must be able to stand and do repetitive operations for eight or more hours.
