Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a skilled CNC Machinist to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in machining and manufacturing processes, with expertise in CNC programming and operation. This role requires precision, attention to detail, and the ability to work with various materials and tools to produce high-quality components. Duties Set up and operate CNC lathe machines to fabricate parts according to specifications. Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and CAD models to determine machining requirements. Utilize CNC programming skills to create and modify programs for efficient machining operations. Conduct inspections of finished products using precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, and bore gauges. Perform routine maintenance on CNC machines to ensure optimal performance. Collaborate with engineering teams to implement lean manufacturing practices and improve production efficiency. Utilize Mastercam programming software for design modifications and tooling setups. Maintain a clean and organized work environment while adhering to safety protocols. Experience Proficiency in CNC programming, including Fanuc controls. Strong knowledge of GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing) principles. Ability to operate coordinate measuring machines (CMM) for quality assurance checks. Mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience using hand tools, power tools, and other tools as needed Previous experience in manufacturing environments with an understanding of assembly processes is preferred.
