Job Description
Mill Machinist Setup Full Time/ Mon-Fri 7:00 -4:00, optional Sat 7-12 Bristol Precision- Marlborough, MA Bristol Precision is a high-precision CNC shop serving aerospace, medical, and scientific customers in a fast-paced prototype and small-batch environment. We are a collaborative team where craftsmanship, accountability, and mutual respect define how we operate. The Opportunity We are seeking an experienced Mill Machinist who combines strong technical ability with natural leadership. This role is ideal for a professional who leads by example, sets high standards, and takes pride in helping others succeed. You'll play a central role in driving setup excellence, improving consistency, and strengthening daily execution on the shop floor. Key Responsibilities Set up and run complex milling jobs in a high-mix, tight-tolerance environment Work from Mastercam programs and make adjustments as needed to ensure performance and quality Lead daily workflow for setup machinists and operators, setting clear priorities and expectations. Train and mentor team members on setup efficiency, quality standards, and best practices. Troubleshoot machining issues and remove roadblocks to maintain flow. Promote standardized, repeatable setups that reduce variation and improve reliability Coordinate priorities closely with production leadership. Qualifications Strong CNC milling experience in a precision machining environment Working knowledge of Mastercam Familiarity with Haas Control Ability to inspect parts using a variety of quality assurance tools and methods Experience operating within an ISO environment Strong communication skills and a professional, team-oriented mindset.
