Manual Machine Shop Location:
Shrewsbury, MA 01545
Schedule:
Full-time, Monday-Friday, 7:30 AM - 4:00
PM Starting Hourly Rate:
$20/hour

Full-Time (Temp-to-hire)
Position Summary :
The Machinist will set-up and run manual lathes and other machine shop equipment to support our manufacturing processes.
Machinist Key Responsibilities:
Set up and operate manual lathes, Bridgeport mills, and other machine shop equipment Perform setups, adjustments, and edit changes to maintain production quality Use precision measuring tools (calipers, micrometers, dial indicators, etc.) Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings Troubleshoot machining issues and coordinate with engineering teams Perform routine machine maintenance Keep shop area clean, organized, and compliant with procedures Maintain accurate documentation and quality control records
Machinist Requirements:
2-3 years' experience in manual machining (lathes, mills, tooling fixtures) Strong blueprint reading and measurement skills Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
