$30.00-$40.00/hour depending on background. Professional Growth in Aerospace Our Southwick-based aerospace production facility is looking for a skilled CNC Milling Machinist to join our permanent staff. We are searching for a professional capable of managing CNC milling setups and operations, creating high-precision parts, and verifying that all output adheres to rigorous quality benchmarks. Your Responsibilities Configure and manage the operation of CNC milling equipment. Analyze technical drawings, operational guidelines, and manufacturing blueprints. Conduct thorough first-piece, in-process, and final quality evaluations. Utilize precision instruments like calipers and micrometers to ensure parts meet specifications and help maintain our high quality standards. Manage tooling configurations, input offsets, and perform necessary machine refinements. Resolve production, tooling, or machining challenges to help optimize overall output efficiency. Oversee the operation of multiple milling units simultaneously when the workload requires. Maintain precise records for production logs, quality checks, and inspection reports. Execute standard equipment maintenance and keep your workspace tidy to support a safe environment. Adhere strictly to 6S, safety protocols, and
AS9100/ISO 9001
quality standards. Candidate Requirements Essential Qualifications At least 3 years of hands-on CNC milling work history. Proven ability to execute full machine setups independently. Proficiency in interpreting complex technical drawings and blueprints. Skilled in using precision measurement tools to help ensure consistent product accuracy. Solid grasp of machining fundamentals, including feed rates, speeds, and tooling selection. Experience with inputting machine offsets and managing tool setups. Completion of a High School Diploma or equivalent. Capable of working autonomously with limited oversight to help drive team productivity. Preferred Qualifications Background in the aerospace manufacturing sector. Experience operating 3-, 4-, or 5-axis milling centers. Formal machining certification, apprenticeship, or technical school training. Compensation and Perks Hourly rate of $30.00-$40.00 based on your experience level.
