Job Description

Job Position Summary:
Responsible to set up and run parts and be able to inspect their work and if needed make adjustments to produce a quality part.
Minimum Requirements:
3+ years of CNC Lathe Experience Experience in Aerospace industry. High School Diploma or Equivalent. Tech School preferred. Mechanical Aptitude Strong Attention to Detail Organizational skills. Basic computer skills Time Management Skills Ability to use inspection tools such as micrometers, calipers, indicators. Ability to effectively communicate both written and verbally.
Duties/Responsibilities:
Ensure adherence to safety regulation and standard. Follow Safety culture and wear PPE when required. Operates a CNC Lathe. Follows Ops sheets and written or verbal instructions for product specifications. Operate within
AS9100/ISO9001
requirements to include proper documentation, revision control, traceability, and lot control. Observes overall operation and performs regular daily maintenance on equipment and work area. Fills out production paperwork and inspection procedures as required. Verifies and visually inspects work and dimensions per operations sheet to specification using measuring instruments such as micrometers, calipers, and preset gages. Maintains tools, gages, and equipment in a clean, orderly, and safe manner.
Working Conditions :
Normal Production environments, subject to high noise levels from operating machines; physical hazards from moving equipment and sharp machine parts; breathing fumes, dust, and mist; skin exposure to oil and cutting fluid; exposure to sharp metal edges, and forklifts. May be asked to travel back and forth between Southwick and Westfield facilities.
Physical Requirements:
Must have ability to read applicable customer documents with or without corrective lenses. May have to lift up to thirty (30) pounds at a time, as required. Must be able to push, pull, reach overhead, stand, walk, climb stairs, bend and/or sit for long periods of time.
Second Shift:
Monday - Friday 4:30pm - 2:00am 25% Shift Differential
