Schedule:
(M-F) 7am - 4pm
Pay Rate:
$24 - $29/hr (based on experience) Responsibilities Set up and operate CNC machines, including lathes and milling machines, ensuring proper tooling and machine calibration for each job. Interpret mechanical blueprints and technical drawings accurately to produce parts that meet exact specifications. Program CNC equipment using G-code, M-code, and CAM (Computer-Aided Manufacturing) software such as Fanuc controls, ensuring efficient machining processes. Perform routine machine maintenance, tool changes, and adjustments to optimize performance and prevent downtime. Conduct precision measurements using calipers, micrometers, bore gauges, micrometers, and other measurement tools for quality control purposes. Read and interpret GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing) specifications to ensure parts conform to design requirements. Inspect finished components for quality assurance using CNC quality inspection techniques and measurement instruments. Troubleshoot machining issues by analyzing tooling wear, machine alignment, or programming errors to maintain high standards of accuracy. Maintain detailed documentation of setups, measurements, and production logs for traceability and continuous improvement. Collaborate with engineering teams on tooling design improvements using SolidWorks or CAD software to enhance manufacturing efficiency. The ideal candidates should be skilled in the following: CNC vertical milling, providing 40"x 20" Y and 25" Z travel CNC turning, with lathes providing 16" diameter by 48" long travel High volume CNC turning 3D milling CNC water jet cutting 3D machining Surface grinding up to 8" wide by 18" long
