In this role, you will machine variety of fluid processing product components in accordance with part drawings and CAD models, company specifications, and verbal instruction in an
ISO 9001
manufacturing facility. Fluid processing products include simplex and duplex strainers, pressure control valves, heat exchangers, manifolds, vents, scupper valves, self-cleaning strainers, and diverter valves. Qualifications High School Diploma or equivalent Ability to use basic hand tools and precision measuring instruments Ability to set up and operate a variety of manual machine tools including lathes, milling machines, and grinders Ability to set up, program, and operate CNC Lathes Experience turning threads, tapers, and shafts Acute attention to detail Select tools, calculate feed rates/speeds, and verify machining parameters for accuracy, efficiency, and repeatability Productive time management Must be able to stand for shift duration U.S. Citizenship required Preferred Qualification Experience with live tooling CNC turning centers Responsibilities Solves problems relative to work-holding arrangement, unusual materials, machine settings, and tools Monitor and verify quality throughout the machining process using calibrated metrology tools Collaborate with engineers, planners, and quality personnel to refine processes and resolve manufacturing challenges Must maintain good housekeeping and safety standards We Offer Clean, well-lit work area 401k with employer match Medical, Dental & Vision coverage Eleven paid holidays Paid Vacation Tuition reimbursement Other Duties This job description in no way states or implies that these are the only duties to be performed by the employee occupying this position.
