This position is responsible for troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining injection molding machines and related equipment to support safe and efficient production operations. The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of hands-on experience performing mechanical repairs on plastic injection molding machinery. Electrical troubleshooting experience is not required but is considered a plus. Openings are available on 1st Shift and 2nd Shift. Candidates who are flexible to work either shift are encouraged to apply. Responsibilities Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain plastic injection molding machines and auxiliary equipment. Diagnose and repair mechanical issues involving hydraulic systems, pumps, valves, cylinders, gearboxes, bearings, and machine components. Perform preventative maintenance and equipment inspections to reduce downtime and improve machine reliability. Replace worn or damaged parts and assist with machine rebuilds as needed. Read and interpret maintenance manuals, machine drawings, and technical documentation. Work closely with production personnel to identify and resolve equipment issues. Maintain accurate maintenance records and complete work orders in a timely manner. Ensure all work is performed safely and in accordance with company policies and procedures. Assist with equipment installations, modifications, and continuous improvement projects. Qualifications Required Minimum of 2 years of experience repairing and maintaining plastic injection molding machines. Strong mechanical troubleshooting and repair skills. Experience working with hydraulic and pneumatic systems. Ability to use hand tools, power tools, and precision measuring instruments. Ability to read and interpret technical documents, maintenance instructions, and equipment manuals. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Preferred Experience troubleshooting electrical components, sensors, motors, and machine controls. Basic understanding of machine schematics and electrical diagrams. Welding and fabrication experience. Experience with preventative maintenance programs. Experience working in a high-volume manufacturing environment. Physical Requirements Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, and work around manufacturing equipment for extended periods. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds. Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment. Schedule 1st Shift Available 2nd Shift Available Flexible shift candidates are highly encouraged to apply.
