Up to $22/hr Job Summary Are you mechanically inclined with experience in machine repair or electrical work We're seeking a Machine Repair Technician to join our client in Madison Heights, MI. This company manufactures and sells plastic hot runners, and they are looking for someone with wiring and machine repair experience—ideally in plastic injection molding—but they are open to training candidates with strong general mechanical and electrical knowledge. What You'll Be Doing As a Machine Repair Technician, your responsibilities will include: Repairing and maintaining machinery and equipment, with a focus on plastic injection molding machines. Troubleshooting mechanical and electrical systems to identify issues and perform necessary repairs. Assisting with wiring and re-wiring equipment as needed. Completing preventive maintenance tasks to reduce downtime and ensure optimal machine performance. Keeping accurate and detailed maintenance and repair records.
What We're Looking For Qualifications:
Experience in machine repair (plastic injection molding experience preferred) Basic electrical and wiring knowledge Strong general mechanical aptitude Ability to read and follow technical manuals and diagrams Self-motivated and able to work independently or with a team Willingness to learn and grow through on-the-job training
