CNC Machinist - Gun Drilling / Milling /

Direct Hire Adecco Permanent Recruitment Team has partnered with a leading precision manufacturing company in Livonia, MI to identify an experienced CNC Machinist with a strong background in gun drilling orm milling. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled machinist who enjoys working in a high-precision, job-shop environment and takes pride in producing quality parts for the plastic injection molding industry . The position will require occasional travel to Massachusetts for training. Key Responsibilities Read and interpret engineering drawings to manufacture precision parts Determine appropriate tooling, work holding and machining processes Set up and operate CNC mills and CNC gun drills Produce high-quality parts within required specifications and tolerances Inspect completed parts using appropriate measuring tools Follow verbal and written work instructions and operator certification requirements Maintain a safe and organized work environment Participate in continuous improvement initiatives Work collaboratively with engineering and production teams Qualifications Approximately 10 years of CNC machining experience preferred CNC milling and/or gun drilling experience Strong job shop machining experience Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings Knowledge of tooling, work holding and machining techniques Strong math and measurement skills Experience using precision measuring tools SolidWorks and/or Mastercam experience preferred Ability to work independently and troubleshoot machining challenges Understanding of quality-at-the-source principles Commitment to safe work practices and continuous improvement Willingness to work withinISO/QS 9000
