Mason, MI Pay Rate:
$23-28
Schedule:
Monday
  • Friday 7:00 AM
  • 5:00 PM (usual), Optional Saturdays 7:00 AM
  • 12:00
PM Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Lathe and Milling Machinist to join our team. The ideal candidate will operate lathes and milling machines to produce precision parts according to engineering specifications. Attention to detail, strong mechanical aptitude, and a commitment to quality are essential for this role.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Set up, operate, and maintain lathe and milling machines.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications.
  • Measure and inspect finished parts to ensure accuracy and quality standards.
  • Maintain equipment and report any issues to management.
  • Ensure safe working practices and maintain a clean work environment.
Skills & Qualifications:
  • Proven experience as a machinist with lathe and milling machine operation.
  • Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings.
  • Strong understanding of machining tools, materials, and techniques.
  • Attention to detail and quality-focused mindset.
  • Knowledge of safety procedures and OSHA standards.
