Job Description

The key responsibilities of the CNC Machinist are to perform Programming, troubleshooting and repair of CNC equipment.
Some of the requirements are:
Knowledge of best practice machining techniques Blueprint reading Continue to improve current production machining programs for efficiency Communicate with the supervisor to resolve machining or quality issues. Guidance on job setups and aid in fixture designs Assist with customer quotes that require machining processes Quality Control - part inspection upon completion of machining and documentation Maintain clean equipment and shop environment Execute an equipment preventative maintenance program
QualificationsRequired:
2+ years relevant CNC and other machining experience Proficiency G-Code, and M-Code Working knowledge in GD&T Strong math skills and experience with measuring tools. Ability to read and interpret blueprints Good communication skills Ability to perform general physical activities such as walking, lifting, and handling materials weighing up to 50 lbs. U.S. Citizenship is required
