What You'll Be Doing You'll own jobs from start to finish — not just turn wrenches. Talk directly with customers — explain problems, solutions, and timelines like a pro Write and manage repair orders with accuracy and accountability Source and order the right parts (no guesswork, no excuses) Inspect, measure, and diagnose engine components with precision
Machining & Building:
Bore, hone, and deck blocks Install cylinder sleeves Rebuild cylinder heads (valves, guides, seats) Grind crankshafts Resurface heads, flywheels, drums, and rotors Full tear-down and assembly of gas and diesel engines Hold tight tolerances and back up your work with confidence What We Expect You don't cut corners — ever You know your way around micrometers, bore gauges, and machining equipment You can work independently without being babysat You show up on time, ready to go You take ownership of your work — wins and mistakes You communicate clearly with both customers and your team What Makes You a Fit Proven experience in engine machining and rebuilding Strong mechanical instincts and problem-solving ability Pride in craftsmanship — your work speaks for itself You move with urgency but never sacrifice quality What You Get Top-tier pay for top-tier performance A shop that values skill, not shortcuts Consistent, year-round work A team that pulls its weight — no dead weight allowed Opportunity to grow with a serious operation Bottom Line We're not a training ground.
