Manual Machinist Job Description The role involves crafting tooling used in plastic welding machines. Successful candidates will oversee the entire process from start to finish, including receiving raw parts, collaborating with designers, and utilizing manual machines. Attention to detail and the ability to read blueprints are crucial as you track materials and coordinate with different departments. Responsibilities Create tooling for plastic welding machines. Read and interpret blueprints and drawings. Collaborate with designers to develop tooling. Manage the complete process from raw parts to finished tooling. Track materials and coordinate with different departments. Operate manual machines including lathes and mills. Essential Skills 1+ year of manual machining experience with lathes or mills. Ability to read and interpret blueprints. Experience in heavy assembly or hobby mechanic work on cars. Additional Skills & Qualifications Experience in manual lathe and mill operation.
