Job Description
LSI is hiring a CNC Machinist for our machining team. This role is ideal for someone with CNC machining experience who can perform setups, troubleshoot machining issues, and work independently. We are also open to mechanically strong machine operators looking to continue developing their setup and troubleshooting skills. Responsibilities Set up and operate CNC milling machines Perform tool changes, offsets, and first-piece inspections Inspect parts to print using precision measuring equipment Troubleshoot machining and process issues to maintain quality and consistency Make routine machine adjustments and minor program edits as needed Maintain clean, safe, and organized work areas Qualifications 3-4 years CNC machining experience preferred Experience with tooling, offsets, and first-piece inspections Blueprint reading and ability to hold tolerances; strong attention to detail Mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills Experience with basic fixturing/workholding preferred Ability to work independently and continue developing setup skills Shop Environment Clean, air-conditioned shop Modern equipment Stable workload Small team environment Day shift Consistent hours Benefits PTO 6 paid holidays Production bonus eligibility IRA with employer match Medical, dental, and vision insurance Growth opportunities Stable company with 45+ years in business
