CNC Swiss Machinist Job Description We are seeking a skilled CNC Swiss Machinist to join our dynamic team. This role involves reading blueprints, selecting tooling, and setting up CNC Swiss machines in a job shop environment with approximately 20 employees. Our capabilities include Swiss machining, milling, and lathe work, focusing on both plastics and metals. Responsibilities Read and interpret blueprints to ensure precise machining. Select and set up tooling for CNC Swiss machines. Operate CNC Swiss machines efficiently. Perform changeovers and machine setups. Work with both plastics and metals to produce high-quality parts. Essential Skills Proficiency in CNC Swiss machining. Experience in machine operation and setup. Ability to read and interpret blueprints. Skilled in using micrometers and calipers. 5+ years of active Swiss experience preferred. Additional Skills & Qualifications Experience working on CNC Mills or related schooling. Programming capabilities both on and offline are a plus. Familiarity with Citizen Swiss machines is advantageous. Why Work Here? Work Environment Our custom CNC job shop specializes in both short and long-run parts for the plastics and metal industries. We produce large plastic filtration parts for industrial applications and transform prototypes into practical machine parts. The shop is clean, well-lit, and fosters a supportive atmosphere with very low employee turnover. Job Type & Location This is a Permanent position based out of Lakeville, MN. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $54080.00
