Monday-Friday 6:00AM-2:15PM 2nd
Shift:
Monday-Friday 2:00PM-10:15PM Currently hiring for both shifts About the Role We're seeking a detail‑oriented CNC Milling Machinist to join our production team. In this role, you'll set up, operate, and maintain CNC vertical milling machines to produce precision components. You'll work with tight tolerances, complex geometries, and a variety of materials to support high‑quality manufacturing. Key Responsibilities Set up and operate CNC milling machines (3,4,and 5 axis Haas) Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and GD&T Perform tool changes, offsets, and program edits as needed Inspect parts using micrometers, calipers, height gauges, and other precision tools Maintain tight tolerances and ensure parts meet quality standards Troubleshoot machining issues and adjust processes for optimal performance Perform routine machine maintenance and maintain a clean work area Collaborate with engineering and quality teams to resolve production challenges Document production data and maintain accurate records Preferred Qualifications 2+ years of CNC milling experience Strong understanding of G‑code, tooling, feeds, and speeds Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and GD&T Proficiency with precision measuring instruments Experience machining materials such as stainless steel, titanium, aluminum, and plastics Strong problem‑solving skills and attention to detail Ability to work independently and in a team environment Experience in aerospace, medical, or high‑precision manufacturing Basic programming or editing experience Physical Requirements Ability to stand for extended periods Ability to lift up to 50 lbs as needed Manual dexterity for handling small components Benefits Competitive pay based on experience Health Insurance (with HSA plans available) Dental Insurance Life Insurance Long/Short Term Disability Insurance Paid time off and holidays 401(k) with company match About Unity Unity Precision Manufacturing is a forward-thinking company with state-of-the-art technology and an exceptionally talented team.
