Job Description

  • Job Description:
  • We are looking for a full-time team oriented, career driven CNC Machinist. This position entails setting up machines as well as running daily production.
  • What your responsibilities will be:
  • Set-up, run, edit, and perform off-sets of CNC Lathe / Milling machines Read measurement equipment such as micrometer, caliper, pressure micrometer, Micro-Vu programs Complete tool changes Maintain production rates Maintain a high level of quality Collect SPC data to maintain process control Perform preventative maintenance on machines to insure consistent machine performance
  • The skills/qualifications we are looking for:
  • Strong math background, preferably in machine shop math Ability to read and interpret prints Understanding of GD&T Experience using a microscope Previous experience with tight tolerances Complete required quality inspections Can complete documentation on time and as needed Experience in set-up and troubleshooting of CNC Lathe / Milling machines Understand Geometric Tolerances Read and interpret prints Experience with measurement equipment, such as micrometers, calipers, gauges, etc.
Programming experience on CNC Lathe / Milling machines is a plus Previous experience in the medical manufacturing industry is a plus Ability to train
