Discover an exciting opportunity at Superior Industries! We're currently seeking skilled and motivated individuals to join our team as a Machinist I. A Machinist I is responsible for completing the following duties: Process raw materials into machined parts according to production needs and job specifications. Set up and operate a variety of machines, including Drill Press, Lathe, and Mill. Perform machine adjustments, routine maintenance, and ensure safe operation in alignment with company safety standards. Read and interpret blueprints to ensure accurate part production. Edit and modify G&M code programs as needed. Manage and organize raw materials to minimize waste and maintain a clean, orderly work environment. Compensation The starting pay range for this position is $22-27 per hour. Final compensation will depend on various factors including: skills, experience, and location. Day Shift 5:00am - 4:30pm Monday through Thursday, 5:00am - 11:00am Friday Benefits Weekly paycheck Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance Paid time off and holidays 401K retirement account with 5% company match Annual boot reimbursements up to $125 On the spot bonuses up to $100 Qualifications Proficient in reading a tape measure with accuracy to 1/8", 1/16", and 1/32" increments, with a strong understanding of inch-to-decimal conversions Skilled in reading and interpreting blueprints with accuracy Experience in using precision measuring tools, including digital and vernier calipers and micrometers Knowledgeable in dimensions and sizing of common structural steel materials
