Overview CMW is a family-owned business with over 30 years of experience. Our shop has state of the art equipment and one of the cleanest shops around. We are a fast paced, detail oriented and growing company. CMW runs 24 hours, 5 days a week! Our company offers flex time, competitive salary, and benefit package including employee medical insurance paid at 100% by CMW, $25,000 Life insurance paid by CMW, dental, vision, and 401K match plan. 2nd shift $1.50/hr shift premium 3rd shift $2.00/hr shift premium Join our dynamic manufacturing team as a CNC Machinist and become a vital contributor to precision engineering and high-quality production. In this role, you will operate, set up, and maintain CNC (Computer Numerical Control) machines, including lathes and milling machines, to produce complex parts with accuracy and efficiency. Your mechanical expertise and attention to detail will ensure that each component meets strict specifications, supporting our commitment to excellence. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your skills in machining technology while working in a fast-paced, safety-focused environment. Responsibilities Set up and operate CNC or manual mills, lathes, or other machine tools Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and job travelers Inspect and measure parts using micrometers, calipers, gauges, etc. Adjust machine settings to maintain quality and tight tolerances Perform preventative maintenance and keep work area clean and safe Document production and inspection data as required Collaborate with supervisors or engineers to improve processes Qualifications High school diploma or GED required 2+ years of experience in a machine shop environment (CNC or manual) Ability to read technical drawings and understand machining symbols Proficient with precision measuring instruments Strong attention to detail and mechanical aptitude Ability to work independently or as part of a team Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. and stand for extended periods This role is perfect for motivated individuals eager to advance their careers in manufacturing by mastering advanced machining techniques. Pay:
$25.00 - $38.00 per hour
