Manual Machinist

Job Description Diversified Printing Techniques is a privately owned company headquartered in Charlotte, NC. Diversified was started in 1982 and has become an industry leader specializing in printing equipment. We build custom equipment and prepare standard equipment for customer solutions. We work on new and unique projects with a varied customer base across the United States. The target position is focused on supporting Diversified Printing Techniques with the setup and operation of various machine tools to produce precision parts. The position will also fabricate and machine parts to make tooling and custom equipment.

POSITION TITLE

Machinist:

Prefered to have a minimum of an Associate's degree Experience with reading drawings in CAD programs (2D and 3D) Experience with a manual mill and lathe Must be able to collaborate with other team members Must be able to communicate effectively

RESPONSIBILITIES

Work in a team setting with other mechanical team members Work on a variety of projects across a wide scope from machining basic parts, to building simple tooling, machining, and fabricating components for custom-built equipment Assist with the assembly of custom equipment Maintaining inventory to accomplish tasks given Work under the supervision and mentoring of mechanical engineers and designers. Ability to weld is a plus Two years of experience a plus
