Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to serve as the primary point of contact for key customers while managing the full RFQ lifecycle—from receipt through quote submission and order review. This role requires a strong balance of technical expertise and business acumen to ensure quotes are accurate, competitive, and aligned with profitability goals. Key Responsibilities RFQ & Quotation Management Review and manage incoming customer RFQs, ensuring timely and accurate responses Analyze all requirements needed to manufacture parts to customer specifications Maintain and prioritize RFQ workflow to meet deadlines Ensure all quotes meet customer requirements and expectations Collaborate with internal stakeholders to establish priorities and timelines Cost Analysis & Estimating Identify and evaluate cost drivers including materials, labor, production time, outside services, and delivery Prepare detailed and accurate quotations Assess profitability and recommend adjustments as needed Review margins on new and existing orders Technical Review & Collaboration Interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and material specifications Partner with production, quality, and engineering teams to refine estimates Recommend process improvements to enhance efficiency and margins Customer & Cross-Functional Communication Act as the main point of contact for assigned customers Lead technical discussions and provide solutions Coordinate effectively with sales, production, and quality teams Resolve issues proactively to ensure successful project execution Leadership & Team Engagement Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet company objectives Promote a strong customer-first mindset Support continuous improvement initiatives Required Qualifications 7+ years of CNC machining experience Strong hands-on machining background Deep understanding of machining processes, tooling, fixturing, and cutting parameters Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and GD&T Experience with milling, turning, 5-axis machining, EDM, grinding, and gear shaping Proven communication and interpersonal skills Strong organizational and planning abilities Preferred Qualifications Experience with Mastercam and/or Mazatrol Experience launching new parts and prove-outs
