We are located in the heart of Greensboro, NC, with easy access to several cities. Job Overview We are currently seeking an experienced CNC Set-Up Machinist with expertise in milling and turning operations. This position plays a critical role in maintaining machining standards, ensuring efficient production, and producing high-quality components that meet customer specifications.

Expectations:

Perform complete machine setups for CNC mills and lathes. Load and set all tooling according to setup instructions and job requirements. Operate CNC equipment and inspect parts in-process parts. Work closely with Quality to maintain dimensional tolerance and process consistency. Fluency with G-code and M-code programming and ability to edit programs. Maintain high attention to detail while working in a fast-paced job shop environment. Exhibit strong communication and problem-solving skills. Willingness to learn and continuously improve alongside engineering and programming personnel. Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical drawings, blueprints, and CAD designs to understand part specifications.

Job Skills and Requirements:

5+ years of CNC machining experience in a job shop environment, preferred. Experience with 5-axis CNC machines, preferred. Familiarity with conversational controls is a plus. Ability to lift up to 40 pounds. Work under minimal supervision Proficient in the use of machine-hand tools and inspection equipment.

$21.00 - $33.00 per hour
