Responsible for running CNC machining cells to produce precision metal parts according to specifications. This role requires attention to detail, knowledge of machining processes and adherence to quality control and safety standards.Key Responsibilities:
Machine Operation:
Set up and operate CNC milling and turning machines.Programming:
Make simple programming edits and tool adjustments. Ability to go from "print to part"Quality Control:
Use inspection and measurement tools including calipers, micrometers, and thread gages. Visual inspection including surface finishes and imperfections not easily identified using conventional measuring toolsMaintenance:
Perform routine maintenance on CNC machines to ensure optimal performance and minimize downtime.Documentation:
Maintain accurate records of production data, machine settings, and maintenance activities.Safety:
Follow all safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment.Qualifications:
Experience as a CNC machinist or a technical degree is preferred. Experience operating Mazak lathes and programming using Mazatrol is a plus Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality. Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.Work Conditions:
Work in a manufacturing environment with exposure to machinery, noise, and moderate physical demands. May require standing for extended periods and occasional lifting of heavy materials.Benefits:
