Located in Wilmington, NC, Sturdy Corporation has been a full-service provider of mechanical, electrical, electronic, and software products for over 50 years. Through our "Concept to Completion" approach, we provide in-house design, manufacturing, validation, and distribution services for the automotive, truck, marine, and industrial markets. Position Summary Sturdy Corporation is seeking an experienced and motivated CNC Machinist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for setting up and operating CNC Haas milling machines to manufacture precision parts and components that meet strict quality and production standards. CNC programming experience is a plus. Key Responsibilities Set up and operate CNC machines to perform machining operations according to specifications and work instructions. Produce precision components while maintaining quality and efficiency standards. Select, install, and maintain appropriate cutting tools, fixtures, and machine accessories. Monitor machine performance and production quality throughout the manufacturing process. Make machine adjustments as needed to maintain product specifications and production efficiency. Conduct in-process inspections of machined parts using engineering drawings and specifications. Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet production goals and deadlines. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment. Qualifications Required High school diploma, GED, or vocational school equivalent. Ability to read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and work order instructions. Experience using precision measuring equipment, including: Calipers Micrometers Depth gauges Indicators Strong shop math skills. Ability to follow direction and work effectively to achieve production goals. Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and commitment to quality and accountability. Preferred Minimum of 3 years of CNC machining experience . Experience with Haas CNC machines . CNC programming experience. Fusion 360 experience. Why Join Sturdy Corporation? Schedule:
