Job Description
Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Manual Machinist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in tooling, machining, and fabrication, with experience in manual lathes and mills.Duties:
- Operate manual mills and lathes to fabricate parts according to specifications
- Use precision measuring instruments to ensure accuracy of machined parts
- Work with hand tools to perform cutting, drilling, and shaping operations
- Maintain and repair machinery as needed
- Adhere to safety protocols and quality standards in all machining processes
Qualifications:
- Basic math and measuring skills
- Proficiency in manual machining techniques and tooling operations
- Basic welding knowledge and skills
- Ability to operate precision measuring instruments for quality control
- Competence in using a forklift for material handling tasks
Nice-to-Have Skills:
- Knowledge of operating a milling machine for metalworking applications
- Experience in fabricating components from various materials
- Competence in using a forklift for material handling tasks
Requirements:
