ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Start to finish set-up and prove out of machined components to receive first piece acceptance while meeting required time constraints. Train employees and provide performance assessment feedback to Supervisor. Operate multiple CNC milling machines and perform in process inspection on production jobs using micrometers, calipers and Tesa-Hite. Provide department updates, metrics and reports to Supervisor. Participate in continuous improvement. Provide first-line technical support to machinists for machined components and manufacturing issues. Promotes a culture of satefy within work cell. Other duties as assigned.

EXPERIENCE

High School Diploma, or General Education Degree (GED). 5+ years of CNC experience. Demonstrated ability to lead other machinists. Strong knowledge in all aspects of producing top quality precision aluminum components. Ability to work with internal drawings, travelers, set up sheets, proper fixturing, offset and tool setting, and prove-out of programs. Perform basic edits to programs on Fanuc controls. Demonstrated ability to solve highly technical problems.
