CNC Machinist C - Weekend/Weekday Shift (B268)

EPTAM Precision Plastics is looking for a CNC Machinist C - 4th Shift (Weekend/Weekday) to join our team in Northfield, NH. POSITION SUMMARY

Operate various pieces of equipment to meet production requirements. The primary equipment this position is hiring for is a 3 Axis Machine The information provided in this job description is based on cell specific criteria.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

Make suggestions with regard to tooling, fixtures, etc. to increase efficiency and provide ideas to improve operations. Load/feed machine as required to produce finished product. Keep count of parts and maintain records. Perform in-process inspection for dimensions of produced parts and maintain documentation as required. Follow specifications and procedures for manufacturing, i.e., process sheets, work orders and any other special instructions. Work on various types of equipment as assigned. Proper handling of all material, parts and equipment to prevent damage and loss of finished product. Employee must be able to relate to other people beyond giving and receiving instruction. Can get along with co-workers or peers and respond appropriately to feedback from a supervisor in a professional manner.

OTHER RESPONSIBILITIES

Responsible for identifying quality problems in materials. Properly utilize evacuation system to minimize exposure to hazards. Provide accurate and complete turnover from shift to shift. Good housekeeping and safe working habits.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

EDUCATION:

High School diploma, general education degree (GED) and/or trade school graduate preferred.

EXPERIENCE

: 6 months experience in a manufacturing environment, operating manual and/or CNC equipment, equivalent combinations of education and experience accepted OR demonstrated ability to execute the Essential Functions for this position. Internships and PT experience acceptable.
