OD/Surface Grinding Machinist Job Summary:
We are currently seeking an experienced, reliable and self-motivated individual to operate our OD Grinder. The qualified applicant must be detail-oriented with the ability to learn quickly. The candidate must have an openness to new training, knowledge and skills. Previous industry experience is preferred.
Job requirements include:
Set up, operate, and monitor stainless steel and chromed work pieces on our Chevalier semi-automatic OD and Surface Grinders Perform minor manual OD/Surface Grinding, when necessary Able to work with precision measuring instruments such as micrometers, comparators, and air gauges Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints and technical sketches Work to tolerances as tight as +/-.0001 Strong attention to detail The regular work schedule is Monday-Friday, 7am - 3pm.
