Manufacturing Full Job Description Job Description:

The Machinist supports daily operations of the machine shop by operating both manual and automated machinery, assisting with tooling and fixture fabrication, and collaborating with the Machine Shop Manager and engineering team to meet production goals. Duties to

Include:

• Operate CNC Haas lathes, drill presses, CNC Haas milling machines, grinders, and other machine shop equipment
• Set up and run equipment independently
• Interpret blueprints and drawings for new designs or secondary operations
• Build fixtures for production in collaboration with other departments
• Assist engineering in the design and production of mold cavities using tool steel or other materials
• Organize and gather materials and tooling in an efficient and structured manner
• Assist with setup and operation of overmold equipment

Desired Skills & Experience:

• Minimum of 5 years of experience performing precision machining
• Experience operating manual lathes, Bridgeports, and Haas CNC machines
• Experience with MasterCam or SolidWorks is a plus
• Motivated and detail-oriented
• Strong communication skills
• Positive attitude

Compensation:

$25 and up depending on experience
