Job Description
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Class C Machinist to join our production team. In this entry-level role, you will be responsible for loading, operating, and unloading production machinery (CNC and/or manual) that has been configured by senior staff. You will monitor the machining process, perform basic quality checks using standard inspection tools, and assist with simple deburring and part cleaning. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with basic mechanical aptitude to develop their skills toward becoming an independent machinist.

High SchoolResponsibilitiesKey Responsibilities Machine Operation:
Load raw materials (castings, bar stock, or blanks) into pre-set machinery, initiate the cycle, and safely unload finished parts.In-Process Monitoring:
Observe machine operation for abnormal noises, tool wear, or malfunctions, and immediately report issues to a Class A machinist or supervisor.Basic Quality Control:
Use standard measurement tools like calipers, micrometers, and go/no-go gauges to check parts against a basic blueprint or inspection sheet.Deburring & Finishing:
Clean, debur, and smooth out sharp edges on finished parts using hand tools, files, or vibrating tumblers.Routine Maintenance:
Perform basic, daily preventative maintenance tasks, such as clearing metal chips from the machine bed, checking coolant levels, and wiping down equipment.Documentation:
Accurate log production numbers, scrap counts, and any basic measurement data required by the quality control process.SkillsCNCQualificationsYears of experience:
