Product Delivery Operator#26-00769 Elma, NY Onsite Job Description
JOB DESCRIPTION
Perform various post machining or precision assembly and preparation operations on a wide variety of components. Machining operations utilizes a variety of measurement equipment and may include specialized fixtures and gages. The machining may include processes such as: grinding, deburring, finishing, honing, fit, and various other fabrication processes. Assembly activity consists of small parts resistance welding and brazing. Other secondary machining operations include flat lapping and bead blasting small precision components. The individual is required to work from drawings, work instructions, parts lists or other instruction and provide detailed written communication defining performance results and/or situational circumstances.
Special Processes:
The incumbent is trained and/or certified in various processes, which support product delivery. Support processes include, but are not limited to, Final Inspection, Shipping, Repair Processing, Receiving Inspection, Source Inspection, Machining Operations, or another regulatory administrative requirement. The incumbents will be capable of performing one or more of these processes to reduce product cycle time and improve delivery performance. Additional support processes may include Welding, Non-Destructive and Destructive Inspection, and other processes determined necessary to facilitate efficiency improvements. This role is repetitive in nature and requires a commitment to predictable routines though could lead to an expanded role in machining.
