: Job Summary
We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Entry-Level CNC Machinist to support daily production operations in Horseheads, NY. This role is ideal for individuals looking to start a career in manufacturing. The operator will assist with operating production machinery, monitoring output quality, and maintaining a safe and efficient work environment.
Key Responsibilities
Operate production machinery according to work instructions and safety guidelines.
Load and unload materials, parts, or products.
Monitor machine performance and report issues or malfunctions.
Perform basic quality checks to ensure products meet specifications.
Measure parts using basic inspection tools as required.
Maintain clean and organized work areas (5S practices).
Follow all safety, quality, and company policies.
Work closely with supervisors and team members to meet production goals.
Required Qualifications
High school diploma or GED.
Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
Basic math and measurement skills.
Mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn.
Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 20lbs.
Reliable attendance and strong work ethic.
Preferred Qualifications
Prior manufacturing, warehouse, or production experience.
Technical or vocational training (a plus, not required).
Familiarity with basic hand tools or measuring devices.
