Job Description

The Bridgeport Drill machinist fabricates and maintains machine parts, fixtures, and tooling. Must have 2 years of Bridgeport drill experience. If not, please don't apply.
Production Job Duties:
Work with engineers to improve the design of tools, fixtures and automated equipment. Maintain cutting, stamping and powder metal compaction dies by cleaning, grinding, honing and lapping. Troubleshoot and repair automated manufacturing equipment. Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed. Qualifications Ability to work from shop prints Operation of the following equipment: CNC vertical milling machine Manual Bridgeport mill Manual Harding lathe Surface grinder Creative problem solving Attention to detail General Job Requirements Must be able to stand for long periods of time Must be able to frequently bend; twist; reach; stoop; kneel or crouch. Must be able to lift 35 pounds
