Job Description

Hours for the position are Monday - Thursday 3:30pm-2am.
Summary:
Program, set up and run CNC Machining Centers to produce the most complex proven or new parts with little supervision. Assist in the development of new processes. Participate as a contributing member in a team-oriented setting.
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
Set up and operate various types of CNC machines, perform progressive machining operations to create the product Write and qualify CNC programs that produce parts conforming to print requirements Meet quality and schedule requirements Monitor tool life and replace cutting tools as needed Work effectively with little supervision Troubleshoot programming and in-process production issues Perform CNC setups for other production personnel to run Run prototype or complex parts as needed Provide written operational feedback for both new and repeating jobs to aid in process improvement efforts Maintain a safe and healthy work environment by following standards and procedures Provide technical assistance, guidance, and instruction to operators and lower level machinists as required
Education:
High School Diploma or GED Experience:
3-6 years in a manufactring environment with CNC experience
