Monday - Friday, 8-hour day shifts (40 hours per week)

Job Summary:
The Manual Lathe Operator will be responsible for operating and maintaining manual lathes to produce precision components in accordance with specifications. The ideal candidate will have prior experience working with manual lathes, a strong attention to detail, and a commitment to delivering quality work.
Key Responsibilities:
Operate manual lathes to produce parts and components Measure and examine completed components to ensure quality and conformance to specifications. Select appropriate tools, materials, and cutting speeds for each job. Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of equipment to ensure safe and efficient operation. Maintain a clean and organized work environment. Follow all safety protocols and company procedures. Collaborate with team members to ensure production schedules and deadlines are met.
Qualifications:
Proven experience operating manual lathes in a manufacturing or machining environment. Knowledge of measurement tools (e.g., calipers, micrometers, and gauges). Ability to work independently and produce high-quality work. Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills. Good communication and teamwork skills. Ability to lift up to 55 + pounds as needed. Experience with TIG Welding is preferred but not required.
