Job Description
We are currently hiring for a 1st shift CNC machinist. We are a custom mold shop, so this is a non-production position. Standard hours will be 6:30 am - 3:00 pm , with additional over-time hours available as needed.
CNC Operator Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- setup and indicate blocks & vises.
- edit speeds and feeds as needed.
- Must be able to climb onto CNC platform at workstation to adjust machine cutting paths or settings to optimize production while maintaining quality
- Problem solving-recognize a problem and come up with a solution
- Ability to keep information and data accurate and organized.
- Experience with manual machining techniques on CNC equipment.
- Quick learner- see how things are done and be able to duplicate processes.
- Good communication- working with engineers, project managers, outside vendors, and customers, as well as other team members within the department.
