About the Role We are seeking a skilled CNC Machinist to join our production team, focusing on high-precision milling operations and technical leadership. You will drive operational excellence by optimizing machine performance, mentoring junior staff, and ensuring our manufacturing output consistently meets rigorous quality standards. Responsibilities Execute complex CNC machine setups and changeovers to maximize production efficiency. Utilize G-Code and M-Code programming to refine machining processes and troubleshoot technical bottlenecks. Perform advanced CNC machine repair and maintenance to minimize downtime and ensure equipment reliability. Conduct precision measurements and utilize hand metrology to verify that all components meet exact specifications. Provide hands-on training and technical guidance to team members to elevate overall shop floor proficiency. Maintain high standards of accuracy by interpreting blueprints and utilizing manual machining skills when necessary. Qualifications Required Skills 5+ years of professional experience in CNC milling and machining. Advanced proficiency in CNC programming, tooling, and troubleshooting. Demonstrated ability to read and interpret complex technical drawings and tape measures. Strong leadership capability with a focus on team development and process accountability. Preferred Skills Experience with specialized CNC control systems and software. Background in lean manufacturing or continuous improvement initiatives. Prior experience in a supervisory or lead machinist capacity.
