Swiss and Lathe Setup Operator 2nd Shift

Our client, a leading manufacturing organization specializing in precision machining, is seeking a Swiss and Lathe Setup Operator 2nd Shift to join their dedicated team. As a Swiss and Lathe Setup Operator 2nd Shift, you will be part of the production department supporting skilled machining operations. • 2am What's the Job?

Set up and operate Swiss screw machines and multi-spindle lathe machines to produce high-quality components. Load bar stock, fill fluids, and remove chips from machines to ensure smooth operation. Perform setup tasks including tooling changes and adjustments to meet specifications. Monitor machine performance and ensure conformance with quality standards. Assist with troubleshooting, maintenance activities, and training of team members. What's Needed? Minimum of 1-year prior experience with Swiss or lathe machine setup and operation or relevant education. High school diploma or GED preferred. Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and machine drawings. Strong reading, writing, and mathematical skills. Physical ability to stand for extended periods, bend, push, and lift over 30 pounds, and work in varying temperature environments. What's in it for me? Competitive hourly pay with shift differential.
