Skilled in Swiss or Lathe Setup? Your Experience Could Be Worth Up to $38/Hour. Ambassador Personnel, Inc. is seeking an experienced Swiss & Lathe Setup Operator for our client in Hamilton, OH. This is an opportunity for an experienced machinist to put specialized setup skills to work while earning competitive compensation and enjoying a Monday•Thursday schedule with three days off each week. You'll be responsible for setting up and operating Swiss Screw Machines and Multi-Spindle Lathe machines, making tooling adjustments, maintaining specifications, troubleshooting production issues, and helping keep the department running efficiently.

IMPORTANT

This Is NOT an Entry-Level or Trainable Position Candidates must have at least one year of previous Swiss setup or lathe setup experience OR relevant Swiss/lathe-based technical education to be considered. Swiss & Lathe Setup Operator | $25•$38/HR | 4-Day Workweek. 2nd

Temp-to-Hire What You'll Be Doing Set up and operate Swiss Screw Machines Set up and operate Multi-Spindle Lathe machines Perform tooling changes and machine adjustments Load bar stock into machines Monitor and refill machine fluids Remove chips and maintain equipment throughout production Make adjustments to ensure continued conformance to specifications Monitor finished parts for quality and accuracy Assist with machine troubleshooting Support routine maintenance activities Help less-experienced employees with machine operation and setup Assist with training when needed Maintain a clean and organized work area Follow applicable ISO quality requirements Follow established safety and housekeeping procedures What We're Looking For Candidates must have: Minimum 1 year of Swiss setup OR lathe setup experience, OR qualifying Swiss/lathe technical education Hands-on understanding of machine setup and tooling Ability to make tooling changes and adjustments Strong mechanical aptitude Ability to troubleshoot machining issues Ability to read and understand machine drawings Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics Basic reading, writing, and math skills Ability to communicate effectively with team members Strong attention to quality and specifications Ability to work independently and as part of a team High school diploma or GED is preferred. Physical Requirements Candidates must be able to: Stand for extended periods of 8+ hours Bend and push throughout the shift Lift more than 30 pounds Work in both hot and cold manufacturing environments Your Setup Experience Has Value.
