$18.25/hr Job Description A manufacturing company is seeking a Plastic Extrusion Machinist who will be responsible for setting up and operating extrusion lines to produce high-quality plastic cylinders and profiles that meet customer specifications for quality, quantity, and on-time delivery. You will work second shift from 3 p.m. to 11 p.m.

Job Duties:

Set up and operate extrusion equipment Monitor production processes to ensure quality standards are met Perform measurements and inspections using micrometers and calipers Troubleshoot and make machine adjustments as needed Follow safety and quality procedures

Job Requirements Job Qualifications:

A high school diploma or GED is preferred Previous machine setup and operation experience required Must have a strong mechanical and technical ability Experience using micrometers, calipers, and other measuring instruments Must have the ability to troubleshoot equipment and process issues Must be able to pay a high attention to detail and commitment to quality The ability to work independently and as part of a team is needed Must be safety-conscious, be dependable, and have steel toed boots Must be able to follow safety and quality procedures Only candidates that can pass a background check and drug screen will be considered.
