This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced professional with a passion for precision machining and experience operating a variety of machine shop equipment. The ideal candidate will be capable of producing high-quality hydraulic components and parts while maintaining strict tolerance specifications.
Schedule:
7:00 AM - 3:30 PM, Monday - Friday (OT Available) Job Summary The Machinist is responsible for machining ferrous and non-ferrous materials to specified tolerances. This position requires the ability to interpret work instructions and blueprints while safely and efficiently operating a variety of manual and CNC machine shop equipment, including: Manual and CNC lathes Manual and CNC mills Horizontal and vertical boring mills Horizontal saws Overhead cranes Forklifts Other machine shop equipment as required
Job Qualifications Education:
High school diploma or equivalent.
Experience:
3-5 years of machine shop experience, preferably in a hydraulics industry setting. Experience in other manufacturing or machining environments will also be considered.
Skills:
Proficiency with precision measuring instruments, including micrometers, calipers, thread gauges, and indicators. Experience with both CNC and manual tooling is required.
Attributes:
Strong attention to detail, sound judgment, and the ability to read and interpret blueprints. Physical Requirements Ability to lift and carry up to 40 pounds and perform a 50-pound pull. Frequent repetitive hand, wrist, and finger movements. Normal manual dexterity. Frequent standing, sitting, and climbing stairs. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Ability to work in environments with noise levels ranging from quiet office settings to moderate or loud industrial environments, including exposure to both constant and sudden loud noises. #CDIV101
Pay:
$35.00 - $40.00 per hour
