About the Role As a Precision CNC Swiss Lathe Machinist, you will play a vital role in producing high-complexity components for demanding industries like aerospace and defense. You will leverage your technical expertise to transform raw materials into precision parts, ensuring every piece meets rigorous quality standards while optimizing machine performance. Responsibilities Execute efficient setups for new and recurring production runs by interpreting complex blueprints and technical routers. Develop and refine programs directly at the machine to ensure parts meet exact design specifications. Drive production efficiency by consistently meeting or exceeding established cycle time targets. Guarantee process stability and quality, preparing machines for seamless operator handoffs. Proactively manage tooling life and implement machine offsets to maintain dimensional accuracy. Perform thorough inspections of critical features and maintain precise production documentation. Maintain a high-standard, organized workspace to support safety and operational excellence. Collaborate with engineering and supervisory teams to resolve technical challenges and improve manufacturing outcomes. Qualifications Required Skills Extensive hands-on experience operating Swiss-style CNC lathes. Proven proficiency with Citizen machine platforms. Advanced knowledge of Fanuc M and G code programming. Strong ability to interpret blueprints, including comprehensive GD&T application. Expertise in utilizing precision inspection tools and measurement equipment. Capability to lift up to 25 lbs and perform standard shop floor physical tasks. Preferred Skills 3+ years of dedicated experience in CNC machine setup. Background in high-precision manufacturing or the aerospace sector. Experience working with complex multi-axis CNC machinery. High school diploma or equivalent vocational certification.
