We are seeking an Experienced Manual Machinist to join our team at United Engineered Products. We make Industrial Brushes and Rollers used by the Metals Industry. Excellent opportunity for an Experienced Machinist or Tool & Die Maker. Most of the work is manual machining to recondition and repair journal ends on rollers & shafts. No CNC required. We currently run one day shift and have flexibility with scheduling, duties, and workload. Willing to consider part time.

Responsibilities:

Sets up and operates manual lathe, milling machine & other standard machine shop equipment. Calculate dimensions and tolerance using precision measuring instruments Works with management on determining scope of repairs & special projects ​

Qualifications:

Previous experience as a machinist or tool & die maker Set-up and operate manual machines Read & understand blueprints Strong analytical skills Strong attention to detail Welding Knowledge Welding experience a plus, and preferred, but not required
