Job Description

Title:
CNC Machinist•3rd
Shift Shift:
3rd Shift | Sunday•Thursday, 11:00 PM•7:00 AM (Includes a $2.00/hour shift differential)
Salary:
$26.00•$34.00 per hour; exact compensation is dependent on experience
CNC Machinist Role:
Our client is seeking an experienced CNC Machinist to handle the setup and machining of complex parts with close tolerances . This role exists to independently manufacture precision parts using CNC lathes and mills while maintaining strict quality, safety, and production standards on the shop floor.
CNC Machinist Responsibilities:
Set up tooling and fixtures on machines using engineering setup drawings Establish origins of machine to fixture and machine the first part to blueprint requirements Run production parts and optimize machining cycles for maximum output while maintaining quality Perform in-process inspections and component benching during the machine cycle Complete all required inspection data, SPC charts, and certified operator documentation Make accurate and detailed transactions of completed work within the ERP software Work collaboratively with engineering and quality departments to ensure products meet design specifications Maintain compliance with company safety standards, corporate EHS policies, and housekeeping guidelines
CNC Machinist Reporting Relationships:
The CNC Machinist reports directly to the Shift Supervisor. This position functions as an individual contributor on the production floor and does not have any direct supervisory reports.
About You:
Possess 4-7 years of CNC machining experience in a regulated industry, with aerospace experience preferred Demonstrate strong technical knowledge of setting up and operating CNC lathes and CNC mills with little to no supervision Maintain a proven, demonstrated ability to read and interpret complex blueprints Exhibit excellent attention to detail alongside a commitment to lean manufacturing and continuous improvement Hold a high school diploma or equivalent qualification Possess a completed apprenticeship program or journeyman certification preferred Maintain a willingness to undergo required pre-employment screenings and legal occupational medical exams
