Technician or Machinist (Wire Braiding Machine) Halo Crafted Toledo, OH Job Details Full-time From $40,000 a year 17 hours ago Qualifications Dimensional inspection Process improvement Manufacturing facility Machining Cleanroom Full Job Description Job Overview We are seeking an experienced Wire Braiding Technician with a strong background in medical device manufacturing to operate, set up, and maintain precision wire braiding machines used in catheter and implantable device production. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience with fine metal wires (e.g., stainless steel, nitinol) and understands the quality and cleanliness requirements of regulated medical device environments. Key Responsibilities Set up, operate, and troubleshoot wire braiding machines (e.g., 16-192 carrier or similar precision braiders) Braid fine medical-grade wires for catheters, microcatheters, or implantable devices Load and tension wires accurately to meet braid angle, pick count, and coverage specifications Monitor braiding processes to ensure consistent quality and dimensional accuracy Perform routine maintenance, adjustments, and minor repairs on braiding equipment Inspect braided components using microscopes and measurement tools Document process parameters and production records in compliance with
ISO 13485 / FDA QMS
requirements Follow cleanroom and contamination control procedures as required Collaborate with engineering and quality teams on process optimization and troubleshooting
