The ideal candidate has hands-on experience with fine metal wires (e.g., stainless steel, nitinol) and understands the quality and cleanliness requirements of regulated medical device environments. Key Responsibilities Set up, operate, and troubleshoot wire braiding machines (e.g., 16-192 carrier or similar precision braiders) Braid fine medical-grade wires for catheters, microcatheters, or implantable devices Load and tension wires accurately to meet braid angle, pick count, and coverage specifications Monitor braiding processes to ensure consistent quality and dimensional accuracy Perform routine maintenance, adjustments, and minor repairs on braiding equipment Inspect braided components using microscopes and measurement tools Document process parameters and production records in compliance with
